Import or reimport, in bulk. target is a source path, a produced asset (with import provenance — reimported in place), a folder (scanned recursively), or an array of any of these. A folder scan reimports its imported assets and imports its loose sources, filtered by opts.mode (all | new | existing). Returns a batch summary { count, results, summary }. Synchronous — returns only when every item has completed. Pair with a quiet write (vfs.write(path, bytes, { quiet = true })) to stage sources without triggering the write watcher, then import them here deterministically.
