localContent.persist
Promote one path from /source/local/ into the world, where it persists for everyone.
/source/local/ is the machine's own content and never reaches a world on its own — that is what keeps a device's recordings off the backend and out of every other player's session. This is the deliberate step that says one particular piece of it should cross over. It writes to the same relative path under /source/ unless a destination says otherwise, and takes a file or a whole folder.
The local copy stays where it is. Persisting is a promotion, not a move, so a publish that goes wrong never costs the only copy; drop the local one with localContent.forget once the world's copy is what you want.
Refused while play is running, and the refusal says why: a /source write during play lands on the play shadow, which is the exact non-persistence this tool exists to end. Open the world in edit mode first.
