show.file

Open a file, folder or asset in the editor so the user can read or review it, in a new, closable panel beside whatever they have open — the viewer they would get by navigating to it themselves: code and text in an editor, markdown rendered, an image drawn, an asset with a preview (bundle, mesh, material, effect, avatar, …) rendered live. The panel is editable where the file is text and follows the file on disk. path is a VFS path, or an asset name, identity or guid.
