zeromind.silence
Silence the contribution reminder for one install root or library, or turn it back on: zeromind.silence(root, on?). root is the path of a top-level install root ("/source/greeter.module"), its asset guid, or an installed library's name ("@combat") or world guid; zeromind.installs lists them. on is true by default.
The contribution reminder says that installed roots have changes their origin world lacks. A silenced root stays out of that reminder, so a root you keep local stops being named. It does not stop zm.prCreate, which sends a root's changes upstream whenever it is called.
The silence is kept in the world's engagement state for the root, so it is shared by everyone in the world: one call mutes the reminder for the root for all of them. zeromind.silence(root, false) turns the reminder for the root back on; it names the root again the next time it is ahead of its origin and has no open contribution.
zeromind.silence("/source/greeter.module")
zeromind.silence(asset_guid, false)
zeromind.silence("@combat")
The call returns { root, silenced }. A root that names no install root or library of this world raises, pointing at zeromind.installs.
