What it does

Lifeline.numbers

Floating damage number styles (pop, crit, heal, combo, immune, minimal, comic) and the presets (classic, combo, comic, minimal) that map hit/crit/heal/blocked to them. Used by LifelineHUD.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

numbers — floating damage number styles. Each is a pure function from one number entry (and its age in seconds) to a widget tree plus how far it has risen, so the HUD can swap styles freely. pop normal hit: punches in, settles, rises and fades crit critical: huge, shaking, gold, with a burst ring and a CRIT tag heal green "+N" that drifts up with a soft glow combo hits on one target add up into a running "xN total" immune "IMMUNE" / "BLOCKED" with a shield glyph minimal small plain digits comic tilted, inked comic-book numbers Presets (what the HUD's `numberStyle` picks) map an event to a style: classic hit=pop crit=crit heal=heal blocked=immune combo hit=combo crit=crit heal=heal blocked=immune comic hit=comic crit=crit heal=heal blocked=immune minimal everything minimal Readability rule for every style: a hard dark outline plus a drop shadow, so a number stays legible over a bright sky, a dark pit, or a busy crowd.
