What it does

menu

The scheme a CARD is driven with: the title, the setup card, how-to-play, an event, a choice, the pause card and the ranking.

Live exactly while a card is on the glass. game.screens.Screens activates it as a card goes up and releases it as the last one comes down, and while it is live it stands play and player down, so nothing at the board answers underneath a card.

ControlKeyboardControllerTouch
navigatearrow keysd-pad and left stickthe rows are the targets
confirmEnter, Spacesouthtap the row
backEscape, Backspaceeastthe card's own button

navigate and confirm walk and fire game.vendor.Focus, which keeps exactly one row lit; the lit row draws a gold ring. Touch declares no class on any of the three because a card's rows carry their own onClick, so a finger acts on what it touches rather than on what is selected.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

menu.inputMap - the controls a CARD answers to: the title, the setup card, how-to-play, the pause card and the end card. Live exactly while a card is up (the presentation slice activates it as a card goes up and releases it as the last one comes down). It stands the board's own controls and the builtin floor down, so nothing at the board answers while a card has the screen. navigate arrows / WASD · d-pad + left stick · (touch taps the rows) confirm Enter / Space · south · (touch taps the row) back Escape / Backspace · east · (the card's own close button)

# back Close the card, or step back one card. Escape or Backspace on a keyboard, the east face button on a controller. It declares no touch class: a card carries its own way out, and a finger uses that. What backing out means depends on the card. How-to-play returns where it was opened from, setup returns to the title, the pause card resumes, and an event card is dismissed the same way OK dismisses it.

# confirm Act on the focused row. Enter or Space on a keyboard, the south face button on a controller. It declares no touch class: tapping a row is itself the confirm, through that row's own `onClick`. Whatever `game.vendor.Focus` has lit is what fires, and it fires the same `Screens:act(id)` a click and a tap reach, so one press does the same thing on every device.

# navigate Walk the focus over a card's rows. Forward (+y) is up the list. Arrow keys on a keyboard, the d-pad and the left stick on a controller. It declares no touch class: on a touch screen the rows are the targets themselves, so a finger acts on what it touches rather than on what is lit. `game.screens.Screens` feeds this axis to `game.vendor.Focus` every frame it is active, and feeds the neutral drop frame too, so one push of the stick is one step rather than a run down the whole card.
