What it does

back

Close the card, or step back one card.

Escape or Backspace on a keyboard, the east face button on a controller. It declares no touch class: a card carries its own way out, and a finger uses that.

What backing out means depends on the card. How-to-play returns where it was opened from, setup returns to the title, the pause card resumes, and an event card is dismissed the same way OK dismisses it.
