What it does

labIdentify

Names the neuron in the cloud under the pointer, and fills the bench's Neuron block with its cell type, class, superclass, side, transmitter and out degree. With no pointer on the surface (a pad or the touch button) it names the neuron under the screen centre instead. A press the bench's own window consumed is ignored, so clicking a button is never also a pick.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

labIdentify.inputBinding: name the neuron under the pointer. A world that claims the left mouse button claims it everywhere, including over its own windows, so the bench's handler checks `ui.pointerWidget()` and skips the pick when the press landed on a panel. The ID button gives a finger and a pad the same action without a pointer at all.
