move.inputBinding — the 'Move' control: sidle along the ledge. Only x reaches the penguin — a rockhopper on a cliff face has one axis of choice — but the control stays an axis2 so the same reading serves a stick, a thumb and WASD without a per-device shape. The deadzone is radial and sits here rather than in the simulation so that every device gets it once: a resting thumb on the on-screen stick and a worn pad stick both read as standing still, which is what stops a penguin drifting off a ledge while nobody is touching anything.
