What it does

ptes_plasma

Material for the tesla-coil plasma arc mesh (the tes_plasma shader). Transparent, double-sided, drawn in the transparent queue so the beam edges alpha-fade over the night scene; intensity is HDR so the arcs bloom. Applied by preseed.parts.p_tesla to the single compute-animated arc ribbon mesh.

❒asset
# tes_plasma Surface shader for the tesla-coil plasma arcs. Renders the compute-built billboard ribbons as electric beams: uv.x runs across the ribbon and shapes a white-hot core line (`core_color`, `core_power`) falling off to the outer glow (`glow_color`, `edge_soft`), with per-vertex brightness/surge from the arc compute pass boosting strikes (`surge_boost`). Output is HDR so bloom carries the discharge; alpha fades the ribbon edges so overlapping arcs read as light.
