What it does

Trapline.parts

Small helpers the looks are built from: P.part (a primitive mesh child with colour, material and glow), groups, lights, Text3D labels, colour maths, Euler and axis-angle quaternions, easing, deterministic hashing, and loop helpers (P.cycle, P.loop, P.ramp, P.onOff) for timed hazards. Every part is a temporary local child, so looks are rebuilt by each machine and never saved into a scene.

Interface

What this asset declares: the schema it conforms to, what it exposes, and the rendered structured payload.

conforms to

zero/source-extract/v2

Trapline.parts: small helpers that build the hazard and checkpoint looks out of primitive shapes. Every part is a local, temporary child entity, so looks are rebuilt by each peer and never saved into the scene.

part(parent: any, name: string, meshName: string, opts: any?) → any

One visible part. opts: pos, scale, rot (quaternion) or euler {x,y,z} degrees, color {r,g,b}, mat (plastic | metal | chrome | gold | glow | neon | glass | toon | unlit | water), glow (0..1 brightness for an emissive colour), shadows (default true).

glow(e: any, c: { number }, k: number) → void

Recolour an emissive part: its colour times `k` (0 = dark, 1 = full).
