A neon vector-arcade tank battle in the spirit of the 1980s classics, rebuilt in 3D.
You are the last hover-tank on a black obsidian plain ruled by a glowing green grid. Waves of red-trimmed enemy tanks pour in from the edge of the arena. Watch the radar, use the glowing pyramids and monoliths for cover, line up your shot and fire, then dodge the shells coming back.
How to play
- Enter (or pad Start, or tap DEPLOY): deploy
- W / S: drive forward and back · A / D: turn the hull
- Mouse: aim the turret · Left click: fire (short reload)
- Gamepad and touch controls work too.
Rules
- Each enemy kill scores 500, and clearing a wave banks a bonus and repairs 25 hull.
- You have 3 lives. When you die you respawn at the centre of the arena after a moment, briefly invulnerable.
- Each wave brings more enemies that are faster and more accurate. Clear wave 10 to win.
- Lose your last life and it's game over. Beat the hi-score of 50,000 if you can.
Features
- Generated 3D models for the player tank and the enemy tanks
- A volcano horizon all the way around the arena, drifting embers, bloom
- A full HUD: sweeping radar with enemy blips, reticle, score, wave, lives and segmented hull bar
- A synthwave soundtrack plus cannon, explosion, alarm and wave sounds
Known rough edges
- The player's turret doesn't visibly swivel yet; shells still go where you aim.
- It's tough: a typical run ends around wave 2–3.
