values
See and set the named values entities hold.
A named value is a number, a vector or a boolean an entity carries under a
name (throttle, rpm, headlights, wheel.slipRatio): scripts write them
with values.set / entity(id).values.set, engine systems write their own
state there (a WheelCollider writes wheel.* on its wheel every physics
tick), and a material property, an Audio voice or a UI widget can follow one
with no script copying it. This toolbox is the debug view onto them.
listnames every entity holding a value, with how many it holds.describeshows one entity's values as they stand now: type, value, who wrote it last (script, engineorremote), its revision, and its replication rate when it replicates.setwrites one value, the way a script would, to try what follows it.
zero values list
zero values describe car
zero values set car brake true
The same rows are files: /zero/runtime/values lists the entities and
/zero/runtime/values/<entityId> holds one entity's values as JSON. The
values global (values.describe, values.subscribe, values.onAnyChange)
is the script surface; the topics/values guide covers the whole system.
