zm
Version control for the world you are working in. Each tool is the git command of the same name and means what git means by it; the shell zm <verb> runs the same command.
Inspect the working state: status lists the staged, changed and untracked paths and the installed content that is ahead of its upstream, log the history of a revision (merged branches and pulled commits included), revParse the commit a revision names. Stage paths with add (. stages every changed path), then commit the staged tree — a commit takes only what is staged. restore takes working edits back to their staged or committed version, or unstages with { staged = true }; reset moves the branch head in git's soft, mixed or hard mode, or with { stage = name } empties that staging area; stash sets your changes aside and brings them back.
Derived outputs: a commit made while an output computed from a staged asset (a preview picture, for example) is still being computed is sealed and lands when the output is done. derived lists those outputs, computes one again (retry), takes your own file as the output (provide), leaves a best-effort one out (drop), or returns a sealed commit to the staging area (unseal).
Branches: branch lists, creates, deletes and renames them; checkout switches the session's branch (your uncommitted changes come with you), takes one side of an unmerged path, or writes paths from a revision; merge merges a branch into the session's (or aborts the merge in progress). Synchronise with origin through fetch, pull and push. trash lists what destructive operations threw away, restores an entry by handle, or empties the trash.
Pull requests: prCreate sends your changes to installed content upstream; prOpen, prList, prView, prConflicts and prMerge propose and land a branch's work.
Accounts, worlds, installing and publishing content — the ZeroMind library, world metadata, ratings and reviews — are the zeromind toolbox.
